Repairs & pricing
How long does a typical repair take?
Most diagnostics are done the same day and most repairs within 48 hours. If a part has to be ordered, your docket shows the expected date from the moment you approve the quote.
Do I pay before the repair starts?
No. Diagnosis first, written quote second, work third. Nothing is opened until you approve the price — and the quote is what you pay, unless you ask for extra work later.
What if the repair fails again?
Every repair carries a 90-day warranty on the same fault, labour and parts included. Bring it back with the docket number and it goes straight to the queue.
Do you give a price over the phone?
We give an honest range for common faults. The exact figure needs a diagnosis — anyone quoting a fixed board-level price without opening the machine is guessing.
Service & tracking
How do I follow my repair?
Your docket number opens a status page: received, diagnosed, repairing, ready — with technician notes and photos. We also push a message at every change.
Can you come to me?
Yes, inside Dschang: pickup and delivery for repairs, and an on-site visit for network or office problems. Outside town we work remotely or by arrangement.
What counts as remote assistance?
Software, virus, email, printer, Wi-Fi and configuration problems — anything we can fix while you watch over a connection. Hardware faults still come to the bench.
Shop, warranty & insurance
What comes with a computer I buy?
Full setup, your study software installed, a 12-month warranty, a free first preventive checkup, and the option of machine insurance for accidental damage.
What does machine insurance cover?
Drops, spills and power surges — the events a standard warranty refuses. One payment covers the academic year and can transfer if you resell the machine.
Do you buy used computers?
We take trade-ins against a new purchase and we refurbish them for resale. Bring it in for an honest assessment — nothing is bought unseen.
Hand it over. We take it from there.
Two minutes to describe the fault, and the repair starts with a docket you can actually watch.
